Our 16 year-old client went to a lake for 4th of July with a friend and the friend\u2019s family. The family, who was directly responsible for the boy, was negligent in their monitoring and supervision of him. While swimming in the lake, he became exhausted and drowned. Unfortunately for the family, the only means of recovering damages was through the at-fault family\u2019s homeowner\u2019s insurance policy, which was only $100,000.
